The light fund donate to Maggie's West London

1 in 4 people with cancer are more worried about the rising cost of living than their diagnosis.*

At our centres, we are hearing about people with cancer struggling to go to appointments because of travel costs and/or asking if they can end treatment early so they can return to work because they can’t afford to be off any longer.

The Light Funds’ donation will go towards helping our Benefits Advisors support people with cancer with their money worries over a six-week period as well as supporting our ‘Eating Well’ nutritional workshops, which focus on eating healthily on a budget.

Over the years, The Light Fund have donated a fantastic £39,905 to Maggie’s West London.

Without donations like this one from our friends at The Light Fund, Maggie's simply would not be able to continue providing the vital support that makes such a difference to people and families who visit our centres.

OnePoll surveyed 500 respondents from across the UK from 22 July 2022 - 1 August 2022. The survey was conducted online using panel members who are credited to participate in surveys. Respondents who are currently living with cancer were targeted using screening questions and profile data in order to ensure the correct demographic was achieved.
