Grab your bike for our cycling challenge around the Surrey Hills area, all while supporting people living with cancer and their family and friends.

Where: Box Hill School, London Road, Mickleham Dorking RH5 6EA

Registration Fee: Early bird discount (ends 28 February): Adult £20 and child (under 18s) £15. After 28 February: Adult £25 and child £20

Sponsorship target: £150-£250, distance depending

The annual Surrey Cycle Challenge returns on Sunday 4 May. Choose between the 28-mile, 50-mile and a new and improved 75-mile routes for your cycle challenge.

How to take part

  • Register for the challenge to confirm your place 
  • Start fundraising today and help support people with cancer and their family and friends at Maggie's at the Royal Marsden

We ask that participants try to raise a minimum of the below fundraising targets:

  • 28 mile route - £150
  • 50-mile route - £200
  • 75-mile route - £250

Entry requirements

The routes have the following minimum age restrictions:

  • Participants taking part in the 28-mile route need to be 13 years or older on the day of the race
  • Participants taking part in the 50-mile route need to be 16 years or older on the day of the race
  • Participants taking part in the 75-mile route need to be 18 years or older on the day of the race

Any riders under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult for the whole duration of the ride.

Roads on the route will not be closed, so riders must feel comfortable and have experience cycling along busy roads with heavy traffic.
