2024 marks a significant year for Eurocell as they celebrate their 50th anniversary.
About the partnership
In 2023, the first year of our partnership, Eurocell raised over £20,000 for people with cancer and all the people who love them.
Colleagues got involved with a range of fundraising activities including, cycling 250km as part of Maggie’s virtual Gran Fondo, Eurocell’s charity golf day, and walking a mile every day throughout August.
Eurocell's 50th anniversary
At the start of 2024, they launched a year of celebrations to coincide with their 50th anniversary with a special initiative to donate £50 for every team member who turns 50 to Maggie’s.
They have committed to reaching their £50,000 target by the end of the year.
Some of their events have included:
- a Eurocell 5-a-side football tournament
- sponsored walks
- a Kitchen Table Day
- and a 20p donation for every employee birthday card
We are proud to support Maggie’s – a charity that helps so many people who are living with cancer and makes day-to-day life feel more manageable. The work they do across the UK and further afield to support people with cancer and their families is truly admirable. I am proud to see the Eurocell teams come together and work towards the £50,000 target that we set for 2024. We plan to continue supporting Maggie’s next year and I’m sure we will raise more funds through our organisation and our untiring employees.
