Your gift this Christmas will help families like Graeme’s get through the darkest time of their lives and enjoy moments together again.
Two weeks after Graeme began treatment for a brain tumour, he and his wife Daisy found out they were expecting their first child.
But the cancer treatment was gruelling, and by Christmas, Graeme's mental health had deteriorated.
Maggie's gave Graeme and Daisy a safe space to talk and the expert practical and psychological support they needed.
Your donation will help more families like Graeme’s who urgently need our support.
When I turned up at Maggie's, the centre head Andy knew instantly that I needed serious help. I can safely say that, without him, I wouldn’t be here.
Maggie’s gave me the starting blocks to put my life back together and realise it’s worth living.
I know that I can’t have ‘me’ back after what I’ve been through; I am forever changed by cancer.
But now, I want some good times and to give my daughter a good start in life. Mabel is the best thing that came out of this whole experience.”
Recent figures show cancer rates in young people aged 25 to 49 in the UK increased by 24% between 1995 and 2019*.
This means that more families than ever will face cancer this Christmas.
Could you help us provide a safe space where people can share their fears, navigate the unknowns and reconnect with what really matters?
Thank you.
Your monthly donation will help us plan ahead and continue to provide our vital support for more families facing cancer.
