Position:

Centre Head

I look after the running of the centre and make sure my team and I are providing the best possible cancer support.

I have years of experience working as a therapeutic radiographer in teaching hospitals in London and around the UK. Before moving to Maggie's in 2021, I worked at Guy's Cancer Centre specialising in a range of treatment techniques and oncology care.

I’m here to listen.

It is completely normal for cancer to come with an array of emotions and thoughts. As a qualified Clinical Psychologist, I can help talk through, make sense and offer strategies for your individual situation.

We can talk about things in a safe and supportive space, and you can see me in private, in a group or with your family.

I'm an experienced art therapist, artist and gardener and run the art therapy group.

Art therapy provides a space where you can reflect on your life through the art media which can make way for creativity and have the potential to surprise us, delight us, and reveal new perspectives. This group offers a range of art materials which you can try out and experiment with that may spark your imagination.

Catherine Zabilowicz

Maggie's, Royal Free

Position:

Nutritional Therapist

I have worked as nutrition advisor at Maggie’s since 2008 and co-wrote the ‘Living Well with Cancer Cookbook’.

My nutrition workshops aim to support those affected by cancer, including those in a caring role. You will learn how food has an impact on the biochemistry of the body and how this has a direct effect on the functioning of our cells, and in turn, our overall health and vitality.

Jenni Stone

Position:

Yoga Teacher

My background is as a yoga teacher with over 20 years’ experience specialising in supporting people with cancer and women’s health.

My yoga sessions are slow mindful classes which focus on the needs of people going through cancer treatment and beyond. You will learn practises to improve mobility and build strength as well as breathing and relaxation techniques to restore energy and manage stress.

No experience is required to join these sessions.
